Fast and Easy Customization with Chrome Motorcycle Wheels
How many of the spectacular bikes that you see around do not have a set of customized chrome motorcycle wheels ?
I am betting that there are not too many.
Why is this ?
Well, besides adding a "touch of the exceptional" to any bike, installing a set of chrome wheels is probably the fastest and cheapest customization job that you can do. In fact, it is so easy that you can probably do it yourself in your own garage, using basic tools that you already own.
Lets face it, what else is this easy ? A customized airbrushed paint job ? Can you do that on your own ? I don't even have any friends that have those kind of skills, that could assist me with that. Your only option is to hire a professional. Whats that going to cost you ? A pretty penny for sure.
Sure you can go for a ton of fancy chrome work all over the bike. It sure does look good when its done properly. But, once again this is not something that you can do yourself. You (or a professional) will have to strip the bike down to its parts, and then a professional company will have to do all the chrome plating for you. Whats that going to cost ? You guessed it, another pretty penny i'm sure.
The huge advantage with chrome wheels is that you can pick from hundreds of different designs right from the start. These designs run from the very simple, to the absolutely bizarre. Case in point, just watch any of the "Orange County Chopper" episodes. I know we all watch it just to see if the old guy is going to blow a gasket on the episode. But, keep an eye on what they are actually doing with the bikes and you can see what sorts of results you can get with your own.
Nowadays, the internet is a great place for you to start your hunt. There are some great sites around that list literally hundreds (some list many thousands) of different makes, styles and sizes.
All you need to do is to make sure that the size is correct for your bike, and then pick the style that you want. As long as you deal with a reputable site, then the wheels get delivered quickly and safely, directly to your door. It could not be simpler than this.
When you start your customization project with a new set of motorcycle wheels, then this provides an excellent starting point for you to then launch the further customization of your bike. The wheels themselves dictate the rest of your project. What are your chances of finding the exact wheels to fit an existing design ? Do you not think it would be easier to do the design around your wheels instead ?
Take my advice, and begin your project by first fitting a really decent set of chrome motorcycle wheels.
